i’ve been thinking. there is no way you can ever tell someone “today is opposite day.”… because it’s opposite day, and what you say means the opposite. so by saying “today is opposite day”, you mean “today is NOT opposite day”.
you can say “tomorrow is opposite day”, or “yesterday was opposite day.” but never “today”. [...]
